Maybe you should look into technology as a career path.
Who is your role model?
I have two. My Mom and Dad. My Dad has a great sense of humor, can build/fix just about anything and knows what to say at just the right time. My Mom has been my teacher, literally and figuratively, from day one and has constantly pushed me to succeed in everything I do.
What was your childhood dream?
I always wanted to be a doctor when I was younger.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your college self?
Don’t worry as much about grades, focus more on the quickest path to hands-on experience.
People would be surprised to know that I…
Have a creative side.
What is the best or most interesting thing about your career?
Our team gets to help secure the organizations that serve our communities. It doesn’t get any better than that for a true sense of purpose.
What was your first job?
I was a caddie at Edgewood Country Club in the summer and shoveled snow in the winter.
Do you have a “motto”? (spoken or unspoken)
Don’t be afraid to fail, in fact, fail as fast as you can. It is the single best way to learn.
When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?
Take my son for a walk or read to him.
Do you have advice for young professionals?
Don’t be afraid to roll up the sleeves and work hard. Putting in the extra time now will help you get ahead in the long run.
