About Our Speakers 
Scott Nathanson is Executive Vice President and Counsel for IPX1031 Exchange Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Fidelity National Financial. Prior to joining IPX1031, he was Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for another national 1031 Intermediary where he managed the company’s Midwest and Eastern operations. He previously served as President of Chicago-based Cole Taylor Bank’s 1031 Exchange subsidiary and Manager of the Cole Taylor Bank Trust Department. Prior to his career as a 1031 Intermediary, he operated his own law firm that concentrated on business and real estate transactions. Scott obtained his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School and is recognized by Martindale-Hubbell for professional excellence. 
Pierre W. Priestley currently serves as the manager of IPX1031’s personal property and aircraft division.  He also assists and supports the reverse exchange division and provides transaction structuring guidance for the company’s account executives and clients.  In addition, as counsel, Pierre monitors corporate policy compliance and advises IPX1031’s Eastern Operations management team.
Pierre is a licensed attorney (OH) and Certified Public Accountant (inactive). He has over thirty years of experience as a tax attorney and consultant.  Prior to joining IPX1031, Pierre was vice president and director of a large bank-owned qualified intermediary. Pierre has a BA in Accounting and Political Science from Mercyhurst University. He earned his JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and also earned an MBA (Finance and Business Policy) from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business.  Pierre is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and has also earned the Certified Exchange Specialist® designation from that organization.
