Annual Exempt Organization Tax Update and Payroll Reporting

It is once again time for our annual tax update webinar. 2018 was a very busy tax year.  This webinar, presented by Tax Shareholder Gene Logan and Tax Manager Melanie Pantalone, will examine the changes impacting exempt organizations.  A few highlights include: 

  • Challenges with Charitable Contributions – How much will losing deductions hurt?  Are the opportunities out there?
  • Tax on Disallowed Fringes – Can expense really be Unrelated Business Income?
  • Siloing of Unrelated Business Activities – So, how large are these Silos?
  • New Excise Taxes – What are the concerns and where do they go from here?
In addition, there have been many other tax developments during the year, including recently released IRS guidance, state changes and judicial opinions.
As an added bonus, the webinar has been expanded by ½ hour to include a discussion on W-2 filing, 1099 filing and state payroll issues.
