Jeanne M. Barrett CPA

Jeanne has more than 25 years of public accounting experience. Her background includes serving a variety of clients both public and private in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, investment and professional services industries.

Jeanne joined the firm in November 1997 and became a shareholder in 2013. She has overall responsibility of selected audits as well as the delivery of the firm’s accounting, assurance, tax and business advisory services to her corporate client base. Such responsibilities require significant planning, technical and administrative skills and extensive knowledge of financial reporting requirements and operating concerns of entities served.

She is the shareholder in charge and the chair of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice and the Chair of the firm's Employee Benefits Industry Group. This committee is responsible for developing specialized knowledge for ERISA engagements.

I love interior decorating and design.

My father told me that life is not about what happens to us but rather our reaction to the situation.

To be a famous interior designer. 

What is the best or most interesting thing about your career?
It constantly changes, always learning something new and continually developing. 

What was your first job?
I worked at a bakery, TJ Cinnamons

Do you have a “motto?”
Mind over matter. 

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?
Free time…. What is that? - spending time with my family anytime, anyplace!

Take every opportunity afforded to you and make the most of it.
