Affordable Care Act – New Reporting Requirement for 2015

In January 2016, applicable large employers (ALEs) will be required to submit an unprecedented amount of benefit information to the IRS and to their employees under the new Affordable Care Act (ACA) Employer Reporting mandate.  This presentation will help provide you with practical guidance and strategic insights to help you meet the compliance demands of the ACA.  Some of the issues addressed will be:

  • Do you understand how full-time employee status is measured?
  • Are you prepared for the 1094 and 1095 reporting requirements?
  • Are you still exposed to penalties?
  • Have you determined how you will respond to IRS inquiries and demand letters?
  • Will the Cadillac Tax impact your plans?
Fraud in the Dealership
Automobile dealerships must be committed in their fight against fraud by continuously assessing the strength and reliability of their internal controls. We will review recent fraud statistics and provide real world examples of fraud schemes perpetrated at dealerships. We will also discuss the steps in conducting a fraud investigation.
Cyber Security Threats
Cyber attacks are threats to all automobile dealerships regardless of size and preventive measures in place. We will provide critical insights on cyber security trends and best practices, as well as establishing comprehensive response plans in the event of a breach.
