Schneider Downs & Co. announces it has been recognized by Construction Executive’s “The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms ™,” which was announced in the August 2024 issue of the publication.
The firm reported more than 135 construction clients with interests across 27 states. Schneider Downs’ construction practice involves 18 partners and more than 70 CPAs who serve the firm’s clients across its offices in Pittsburgh, PA; Columbus; OH; and Washington D.C. Collectively, the practice was recognized as number 27 on the list of top 50 construction accounting firms.

In its July/August 2024 issue, CE published a comprehensive ranking of The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™. To determine the ranking, CE surveyed hundreds of U.S. accounting firms with a construction practice. Data collected included: 1) 2023 revenues from construction practice; 2) number of CPAs in construction practice; 3) percentage of firm’s total revenue derived from construction practice; 4) number of construction clients in 2023; 5) number of office locations with a construction accounting practice; 6) number of employees with CCIFP certification; and 7) year construction accounting practice established. The ranking was determined by an algorithm that weighted these factors in descending order of importance.
