HR Panel Discussion

Join Kelly Horn, CHRO of Schneider Downs as she leads a panel of individuals to discuss the issues facing many non-profit organizations in a post-COVID environment.   Our topics will include recruiting and retention, employee benefit trends, hybrid working environments and many others.  We are delighted to have Charles “Chaz” Billington, III (Partner, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP), Melissa Painter (Vice President of Human Resources, The Watson Institute), Kerstin Sjoberg (Executive Director, Disability Rights Ohio) and Robert Stape (Chief Operating Officer, Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania) join as panelists and share their organization practices and thoughts from a legal perspective.

Nonprofit Tax Update

Join us for a tax update for not-for-profit organizations. We will have a discussion on the Paycheck Protection Program and the Employee Retention Credit that will include recent guidance and suggestions on how to maximize the two programs.  We will also be discussing the complexities surrounding state solicitation including registration, annual filings and required acknowledgment disclosures.   Finally, we will provide an update on what’s new with the Internal Revenue Service and their recent focus and priority guidance plan. This session will be presented by Shareholders Gene Logan and Sarah Piot, and Senior Managers Brian Matthews and Melanie Pantalone.
