PITTSBURGH, PA – Schneider Downs is proud to announce that John Harvey has been named the 2025 recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Western Pennsylvania Chapter’s CF Star Award for his commitment to advocacy, fundraising, and community leadership in support of cystic fibrosis research.
Harvey was recognized at the Western Pennsylvania Chapter Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Event, which honors local award recipients and highlights the impact of volunteers and supporters working toward a cure.
“This award reflects the support I have received from my family, friends, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Western Pennsylvania Chapter, and my colleagues at Schneider Downs. I would not be where I am today without them,” said John Harvey.
Harvey is an active supporter of the Western Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, contributing through fundraising and volunteer leadership as a mission speaker at the annual Cycle for Life event, where he shares his personal journey and underscores the importance of continued research and funding.
A dedicated supporter of the Foundation’s 50 Finest Honorees program, Harvey has consistently advanced the organization’s mission. In 2026, he will mark his seventh consecutive year running with the Breathe Team while continuing to raise funds and awareness for the cystic fibrosis community.
