Staci has over 20 years of public accounting experience, including 10 with an international firm. She is currently practice leader of the Schneider Downs Accounting, Assurance and Advisory Services Department. She has devoted her career to serving tax-exempt clients specializing in the not-for-profit (human services, economic development, arts and cultural, and religious organizations), higher education, and healthcare sectors. In addition, her areas of expertise include serving clients with complex governance structures and those who participate in the public markets. She has extensive experience serving publicly traded registrants that qualify as smaller reporting companies as well as accelerated filers. Her experience includes conducting integrated audits, quarterly reviews, public offerings and related comfort letter procedures. From start-ups to well-established companies, Staci provides exceptional client service through technical advisory, accounting and assurance services to her client base.
Staci serves a key role in the firm’s quality control and risk assessment process. She is the Director of Technical Matters for the firm and, as Assurance and Advisory chair, she leads the firm’s Assurance Technical Advisory Committee (ATAC), which is the governing body of the practice. In addition, she is a member of the Higher Education Industry Group, and leads the firm’s Not-for-Profit Industry Group and the SEC Practice Group.
She is a frequent speaker on technical accounting and governance matters.

I was a babysitter.

I have kids…don’t make me laugh (but they are my passion)
