Mike joined Schneider Downs as an audit shareholder in the Columbus office in 2025. He has nearly 30 years of experience providing high-quality consulting, advisory and auditing services to clients in various markets. Mike is highly accomplished in developing and serving clients in the professional service, restaurant and retail, construction and technology industries.
Before joining Schneider Downs, Mike served as the CFO for a large retail and global franchisor in central Ohio. Here, he identified and executed opportunities for process improvement, including automation of the company’s current accounting processes. Mike served as an integral role in strategic company initiatives to enhance company performance and executive succession planning.
Mike also served as Office Managing Partner for a global Accounting, Tax and Financial Advisory and Consulting firm, where he was responsible for the growth and profitability of its local office, which doubled in size during his tenure. Additionally, as the audit engagement partner for a dynamic, middle-market privately held client base, he oversaw the audit execution and quality of work performed.
Mike is actively engaged in the local community, serving and supporting various organizations and connecting with peers throughout several professional boards and associations. He is a 2008 Columbus Business First Forty Under 40 award recipient and a graduate of Leadership Columbus.
