Ohio’s sales tax holiday runs from Friday, August 7, 2020 through Sunday, August 9, 2020. During the holiday, clothing priced at $75 or less, school supplies priced at $20 per item or less and school instruction materials priced at $20 per item or less are exempt from state and local sales and use tax.
Items used in a trade or business are not exempt during the sales tax holiday. Clothing accessories and sports and recreational equipment do not qualify for the sales tax holiday.
